Handmade zines are a fun, easy and affordable way to get your art out into the world. We’ll learn how to make a zine using regular ol’ paper, plus scissors and bone folders, to add a beautiful folded pattern to your binding. All supplies provided!
With nothing but a pair of scissors and some paper, we’re going to fold our way to handmade zines - with a bit of origami tossed in the mix for fun!

Design Your Own Tarot Card
Are you interested in the symbolism and imagery of tarot? Join this workshop, where we'll draw, collage, paint, and pattern our own tarot card! We'll start with an introduction to the Major Arcana and four suits of a standard tarot deck. We will explore a handful of different decks to understand the meaning behind the symbols and images. You'll then be ready to design your own guiding card. All skill levels are welcome, and all supplies are provided- just bring yourself and your curiosity!
Coptic Sewn Journals

Practice the historical art of the coptic bind, where intricate hand-sewing is revealed on the open spine of a beautiful, hardcover journal. We will make a casebound (hard cover) journal from scratch, including folding and sewing signatures, wrapping your cover in decorative papers, and assembling the final journal. All materials are supplied but if you have a decorative paper you’d prefer to use for your covers (scrapbooking paper works great!) feel free to bring it along.
